  • Bihar-based Agri-startup Agrifeeder has secured USA FDA Certification

Bihar-based agri startup Agrifeeder, co-founded by actor, National Award–winning producer and entrepreneur Neetu Chandra along with Priya Pandey, Raman Kumar and Raunak Kumar, has secured USA FDA certification, enabling the export of high-quality agricultural produce sourced directly from farmers across Bihar. The milestone was announced at an event held at Bihar Niwas, New Delhi.

The company also unveiled its global-facing brand identity, Agrifeeder by Neetu Chandra, under which all products will be marketed internationally. Packaging will now carry Neetu Chandra’s name and visual identity, reinforcing trust, accountability and global recall.

Agrifeeder works with over 50,000 farmers across Bihar, supporting them through direct market linkage, branding, packaging and supply-chain coordination. Its objective is to help farmers earn up to 10x higher income by shifting from commodity sales to value-led, export-ready markets.

The platform focuses on indigenous products such as lemongrass herbal tea, chanasattu and fortified variants, raw honey, GI-tagged Bhagalpuri Jardalu mango, GI-tagged Katarni rice and poha, jaggery maize and other region-specific produce.

Commenting on the launch, Neetu Chandra said, “Putting my name on the packaging means standing behind the quality, sourcing and livelihoods connected to every product. This brand represents trust, traceability and the belief that Bihar’s produce can compete globally.”

Priya Pandey added, “USA FDA certification is a defining moment for Agrifeeder and validates years of groundwork, enabling us to take Bihar’s produce to global markets with confidence and quality assurance.”

In line with its Bihar-first model, Agrifeeder has shifted its core operations from Bengaluru to Dubuoli village near Bhagalpur, embedding teams within the local farming ecosystem and adopting the village for long-term livelihood and employment initiatives.

Founded in 2017, Agrifeeder addresses structural challenges faced by small and marginal farmers while building an export-oriented platform rooted in farmer empowerment and regional excellence.
